F.A.S.H.I.O.N was never my cup of tea.
Since I was young, I had very little or almost no confidence in dressing up my self. So I joined the girls-dress-up-like-boys group. The main reason was I couldn't shop for my favorite style in local stores. To date, I'm still a lose hope to shop at local fashion boutiques. How strange is that??
So just why is this happening? Well, the average fashion sizes available in local boutiques are normally size S to XL, now available in XXL. And me? I'm an XXXL. I wear jeans at size 40, blouse at US size 42-46. a size 16/18 person. FYI, these size figures used to be so rare for Asians, but not anymore.
Thank God for plus size model agencies. Just when I thought I'm most probably a fashion loser, I stumbled on Ashley Graham, a super gorgeous plus size model. She speaks of self confidence and she is a living proof that all women deserve to be pretty regardless of sizes. I realized that I HAVE what it takes to be pretty myself -- just be myself. Now my confidence in fashion has flared up, and I'm inspired to change my image.
I found Ashley appeared in Isuuu e-magazine for Madison Plus. She's such a super hot young woman. She makes me want to be a happier and beautifully-dress-up woman.
So ladies, for those who keeping saying that you are FAT -- Think again. Do you still want to use such pathetic word to describe your self? I'm switching to CURVY. It sounds sooo much sexier.
